History of the School

Beginning in 2000, in temporary accommodation, on the grounds of the Kalgoorlie Baptist Church in the centre of Kalgoorlie, the college grew steadily until, in due course, the current site was purchased from the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and the first Building was completed. 

By the time the college was ready to move to the new site in O’Connor in November 2004, the Stage II facilities were already too limited.  As a stop-gap-measure, three transportable buildings were added to facilitate the admin centre, a library and a computer centre.  Mid 2005 the Stage II building was begun.  2007 saw the much needed covered assembly area being erected to the delight of the students. In 2008 the Stage III building with 2 classrooms, a computer centre and the Hazel Westbrook Library were completed. The covered assembly area has been upgraded with roller doors, sound system and lights.

There is more to follow as the College grows. We have staged plans over the next several years to provide all the infrastructure needed for a K-12 school.
