UNIFORM

Parent Responsibility

Requiring students to wear the correct College uniform at all times in accordance with College policy is the direct and sole responsibility of parents.  Parents accept that uniform instils a sense of positive identity within the College and will ensure that the uniform is clean and neat and kept in good repair.

Responsibility for Uniform Policy

The College Board is responsible for uniform policy.

The Board believes that the School Uniform will benefit all students and will:

  • Foster and enhance the public image of the school.
  • Assist in building school and team spirit.
  • Ensure students are safely and adequately dressed for specific school activities, while considering the unique Goldfields climate.
  • Encourage equity among students.
  • Prepare students for work as many work places have safety dress codes.
  • Ensure that College students are easily identifiable.

Students not adhering to the correct uniform may be denied the opportunity to represent the College at official College activities, including sport, art and social events.
